Mehmet Oz urges Senator John Fetterman to join Republican Party

During a podcast interview, Oz suggested that Fetterman should switch affiliations, noting that the Senator struggles to connect with his own party and needs to push back against political orthodoxy.

The comments follow a video message from Fetterman played during a GOP midterm convention, in which he described himself as a ‘commonsense Democrat’ who rejects socialism and praised figures such as Donald Trump and Dave McCormick. Despite these remarks, Fetterman issued a statement clarifying that he does not plan to leave the Democratic Party.
