Mehmet Yiğiner rejects smear campaigns ahead of TESK election
Mehmet Yiğiner, candidate for the Presidency of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) and current President of the Turkish Drivers and Automobile Federation (TŞOF), has issued a strong statement ahead of the upcoming TESK General Assembly.
Following a meeting with union and federation leaders, Yiğiner rejected recent smear campaigns and unsubstantiated allegations directed at his candidacy. He emphasized that the will of the delegates and their votes are not for sale, asserting that the resources of the organization should not be left to the personal discretion of a few managers.
Yiğiner also highlighted the importance of preserving the Ahilik culture, a traditional Anatolian value system, and stated that his group is united to defend the rights and interests of tradesmen and craftsmen. The TESK General Assembly is set to be held on September 30.
