ME:I member TSUZUMI attends Moana live-action film event

Members of the girl group ME:I attended a promotional event in Tokyo for the live-action film ‘Moana and the Legendary Sea’. TSUZUMI, a member of ME:I, provided the Japanese voice for the character Moana.

During the event, TSUZUMI shared personal reflections on her journey, noting that she had previously missed participating in the group’s performance of the animated version’s ending song due to health issues. She expressed that her desire to connect with the work motivated her to audition for the live-action role.

In an emotional moment, fellow group member KEIKO praised TSUZUMI for her growth and resilience, stating, “You have become truly strong” and expressing pride on behalf of the entire team. The event concluded with a special performance of the song “How Far I’ll Go” by TSUZUMI and Kurata Ema, the voice actress for young Moana.
