Mei Nagano stars in DMM TV drama ‘Himachi no Jyoou’

The cast for the DMM TV original drama ‘Himachi no Jyoou’, starring and produced by Mei Nagano, has been expanded. The series is a live-action adaptation of the popular manga by Crese Kayahara, which has surpassed 170 million PV and 1.2 million copies in sales.

The story follows Ayane, a former top hostess from Kabukicho, as she aims to manage the best hostess club in Japan, set in the entertainment district of Asahi-cho, Tottori Prefecture. The newly announced cast includes Yuna Taira, Minami Umezawa, Fumi Baba, Yu Shirota, and Yuki Saito, among others.

The production is scheduled for a world premiere at the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival in the ‘Special Screening’ category, with an exclusive release on DMM TV set for this winter.
