MEIH and UNPLI Cosenza partner to promote local excellence abroad

The Mediterranean Export Innovation Hub (MEIH) and UNPLI Cosenza have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote the local excellence of the Cosenza province and the Calabria region in international markets. Signed by presidents Alessandro Crocco and Antonello Grosso La Valle, the agreement aims to create a stable collaboration to internationalize typical productions, craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and tourism offerings.

The partnership seeks to move beyond fragmented promotional efforts by presenting the territory as an organized and competitive system. MEIH will provide expertise in market analysis, international communication, entry strategies, and business-to-business matching. UNPLI Cosenza will utilize its network of Pro Loco to support the preservation of traditions and the promotion of local hospitality.

Planned activities include supply chain mapping, specialized training, economic missions, and initiatives to attract international partners to the region.
