Meiji the Cats Eye stage play revival announced

A production announcement was held for the revival of the stage play ‘Meiji the Cats Eye’, based on Tsuyoshi Hojo’s manga ‘Cat’s Eye’. The production features Norika Fujiwara, Reiko Takashima, and Ayame Gouriki reprising their roles as the three thief sisters.

During the press conference, the cast discussed their preparation and the bond between the performers. Fujiwara, returning as Hitomi, expressed her joy at returning to the world of the series. The cast also received original character illustrations from the manga creator, Tsuyoshi Hojo, who had previously attended the first production.

The revival will tour three major cities in Japan: Hakataza in Fukuoka (September 26–30), Meiji-za in Tokyo (October 9–November 1), and Shin Kabukiza in Osaka (November 14–23).
