Meikei Gakuen students achieve success in national summer competitions

Meikei Gakuen Junior and Senior High School reported significant achievements across various club activities during the summer break.

The high school soft tennis baseball club won the North Kanto tournament, securing a spot in the national championships held in Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture. In other sports, the kendo team competed in the Interhigh tournament, while the badminton team also reached the national stage, advancing past the first round in multiple categories.

The high school rugby team achieved its highest-ever ranking in the national 7-man tournament, securing third place. Additionally, the guitar club successfully passed the qualifiers for the national guitar ensemble competition and will compete in the finals in Yokohama.
