Međimurje municipalities receive over 714,000 EUR for local infrastructure

The Local Action Group (LAG) Međimurski doli i bregi has approved 15 development projects across 15 towns and municipalities in the Međimurje region. The total value of the selected projects exceeds 714,000 EUR, with 412,500 EUR allocated in non-refundable support.

The funding, provided through the fifth LAG tender under the 2023–2027 local development strategy, aims to improve living conditions in rural communities by upgrading small-scale communal, recreational, and social infrastructure. Each of the 15 selected projects received a maximum support amount of 27,500 EUR.

Key planned improvements include: - Lighting at the Mladost Sports and Recreation Center in Dekanovec. - Renovation and equipment of children's playgrounds in Nedelišće, Ivanovci, Belica, and Šenkovce. - Cemetery fencing in Sveti Juraj na Bregu. - A traffic junction and parking lot in Štrigova. - Robotic lawn mowing for football fields in Mursko Središće. - Procurement of equipment for sustainable communal infrastructure in Sveti Martin na Muri.
