Meininger Kantorei children's choirs begin new rehearsal phase

The Meininger Kantorei children's choirs, part of the South Thuringia Church District, are beginning a new rehearsal phase. Church music director Sebastian Fuhrmann is inviting children of various ages to join the program.

Participation is free and open to all children regardless of religious affiliation. Rehearsals are organized by age groups, including primary school boys and girls, as well as students from the 5th grade and above. The program offers musical theory through play and includes musical family services, annual musical projects, and singing retreats.

Additionally, the children's choir is scheduled to perform in a special concert on December 20 at the Meininger Stadtkirche, supporting singer-songwriter Gerhard Schöne's Christmas program, ‘Könige aus Morgenland’.
