Meisei Co., Ltd. launches Smartowner sensor trash cans

Meisei Co., Ltd., based in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, has launched the Smartowner sensor trash can on major e-commerce platforms including au PAY Market and Yahoo! Shopping. The product is designed to address space constraints and hygiene concerns.

The trash cans feature a horizontal sliding lid rather than a traditional upward-opening lid, making them suitable for installation under kitchen counters or desks where vertical clearance is limited. Users can operate the device via an infrared sensor for touchless access or through a manual button. The sensor's detection range is adjustable between 6cm and 30cm.

Available in 30L and 45L capacities, the models come in black, silver, and white. The design includes a three-layer sealing structure to minimize odors and 360-degree rotating casters for easy mobility. The units are constructed with stainless steel exteriors and include LED indicators to monitor power, sensor activity, and battery levels.
