Meisei University tests data and AI infrastructure for university management

Meisei University, in collaboration with Harmony Plus Co., Ltd., has completed a proof of concept (PoC) to establish a data infrastructure aimed at data-driven university management using AI and data analytics.

The project utilized Microsoft Fabric to aggregate previously dispersed admission and high school-related data into a single platform. By integrating these datasets, the university verified the ability to automate tasks such as data aggregation, transcription, and document creation through custom business applications built with Microsoft Power Apps.

This initiative serves as a first step toward university-wide implementation. Following the successful verification of the admission-related processes, Meisei University plans to expand the scope of the data infrastructure to include academic affairs, student support, and career services to support data-based decision-making and educational improvements.
