Meitu launches Silver Week VIP roulette and new AI features

Meitu is hosting a limited-time VIP roulette campaign from September 19 to September 23, 2026, to coincide with the Silver Week holidays. The promotion offers users various rewards, including 30-day free VIP trials and discounts of 10%, 15%, or 20% on annual VIP plans.

In addition to the campaign, the app is introducing several new AI-driven features and creative tools. These include new weekly collage templates designed for social media sharing, ‘Bijou Deco AI’ for adding realistic gemstone effects to faces, and specialized pet-themed AI processing such as ‘Cute Figure’ and ‘Strange Incidents,’ which recreates popular animal memes.

Meitu is also actively seeking collaborative partnerships in Japan with corporations, media outlets, talent agencies, and local governments to develop localized filters, templates, and promotional projects.
