Meke Lake displays misty landscapes in Konya

Meke Lake, located in the Karapınar district of Konya and often referred to as the ‘Evil Eye Bead of the World,’ has showcased unique visual landscapes following recent rainfall.

In the early morning hours, a dense layer of fog settled over the lake, enveloping its iconic central volcanic cone and creating a mystical atmosphere. While the lake attracts many domestic and international tourists during the summer months, the autumn and winter seasons offer different scenery characterized by rain and mist.

Local photographers and nature enthusiasts have gathered in the area to capture the changing colors and atmospheric conditions of this natural heritage site, which continues to highlight the region's tourism potential.
