Melaka state honors 1,328 individuals including Fadhlina Sidek

A total of 1,328 individuals received state honors during the 2026 Melaka State Awards ceremony, held at Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh, in conjunction with the 77th birthday of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka, Tun Mohd. Ali Mohd. Rustam.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek led the list of recipients, being awarded the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM), which carries the title Datuk Seri. Other high-ranking recipients of the DGSM include the Chief Judge of Malaya, Datuk Seri Hashim Hamzah; the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Mohd. Khalid Ismail; and the Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman.

Renowned singer Ziana Zain was among the 189 recipients of the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM), earning the title Datuk. She expressed that the recognition from her home state is a meaningful honor and a responsibility to continue serving her fans and society.

Additionally, 56 individuals were awarded the Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka (DCSM), carrying the title Datuk Wira, including several state assembly members and high-ranking police officials.
