Melania Trump returns to public eye with foster care initiative

Melania Trump made her first public appearance in over a month on Thursday, appearing alongside President Donald Trump in the White House Rose Garden. Her return follows a period of reduced public activity during the current presidential term, during which she has attended significantly fewer events and international trips compared to the first term.

During the event, the First Lady announced an expansion of her ‘Fostering the Future’ initiative, which supports young Americans transitioning out of the foster care system. A new alliance involving Fox Corporation and IndyCar will provide $2 million in scholarships to students at Indiana University and Purdue University. This expansion brings the program's network to 26 colleges and universities across the United States.
