Melania Trump reveals White House banquet details for Xi Jinping visit

Melania Trump has shared a glimpse of the preparations for the upcoming state banquet at the White House to welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping. In a nine-second black-and-white video posted to X, the First Lady showcased the sophisticated arrangements, including elegant chandeliers, floral centerpieces, and high-end crystal glassware. The video concluded with a shot of a red menu featuring the American eagle symbol.

This visit marks the first state visit by a Chinese leader in over a decade. In a departure from standard diplomatic protocol, President Donald Trump is expected to personally receive President Xi at Joint Base Andrews rather than waiting at the White House. Following the arrival, the leaders are scheduled to attend a parade at the Rose Garden before moving to private talks. While the First Ladies, Melania Trump and Peng Liyuan, are expected to engage in separate activities, specific details regarding their itinerary have not been released.
