Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald to host 40th ARIA Awards

Comedians Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald have been named hosts for the 40th annual ARIA Awards. The milestone ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 18, at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.

The duo, known for co-hosting the Network 10 series ‘The Cheap Seats’, were described by organizers as a “natural fit” for the anniversary edition. The event will be broadcast live on Paramount+ starting at 5pm AEDT, with a free-to-air broadcast following on Channel 10.

Latifa Tee, a triple j presenter and DJ, will join the hosting team and manage red-carpet duties alongside Georgie Tunny and Angela Bishop. The nominations for this year’s awards are led by Genesis Owusu and Tame Impala, who have each received eight nominations.
