Melbourne hospitality scene sees new accolades and rooftop expansions

Melbourne’s hospitality scene is seeing significant developments, highlighted by Three Horses being named the Bar of the Year in the 2027 Good Food Guide. The venue is noted for its community contribution, distinctive atmosphere, and a menu focused on sherry-based cocktails.

Additionally, the city’s skyline is being transformed by new and revamped rooftop venues. Garden State has completed a two-year build to open a tiered rooftop overlooking Flinders Lane, following an intense planning process involving local stakeholders and the Melbourne City Council. Other upcoming openings include the Transit Rooftop Bar in Federation Square and the Prince Terrace in St Kilda.
