Meldola to hold public meeting on urban security

Recent incidents, including a stabbing following a brawl in the city center and the Musiani murder involving local residents, have intensified the debate. Lara Bruno, coordinator for Fratelli d'Italia in Meldola, has called for urgent political action in the City Council to address the perceived silence of the administration regarding these events.

To combat these issues, the municipality has implemented technological measures such as electronic license plate readers. Additionally, a regional grant will fund new surveillance cameras in public spaces. The administration is also exploring social interventions, including youth engagement programs and the potential introduction of street educators to address youth unrest and alcohol-related issues.
