Melenara fireworks scheduled for August 29 in Telde

The traditional Melenara fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, serving as the centerpiece of the coastal festivities in Telde. The celebrations are organized by the neighborhood initiative ‘El Chinchorro de Melenara’, led by Carmen Rosa Santana Calixto.

The festival program officially begins on Friday, August 21, with religious and folk traditions centered around the Virgen del Carmen and the Holy Parish Priest of Ars. The full schedule of events will be announced on August 14 at Melenara beach. The event is a major attraction for Gran Canaria, having drawn more than 50,000 people to the coastline during the previous year's celebrations.
