Melendi discovers contestant is his children's music teacher on La Voz

During the blind auditions of the talent show ‘La Voz’, singer Melendi experienced a surprise connection with contestant Sean. After Sean performed ‘Smile’, Melendi discovered that the singer is the music teacher for his children and that they had previously recorded a Christmas carol together.

Other notable moments from the fourth gala of blind auditions included Raúl’s return to the competition after three years and a contestant performing in Japanese, which distracted the coaches. Additionally, Melendi attempted a ‘superblock’ to prevent Pablo López from selecting a contestant named Nico, though Nico ultimately chose Mika.
