Meletes Ilias Warns Power Can Corrode Personality in Interview

Greek actor Meletes Ilias told OK! magazine that authority "corrodes" a person and can lead to madness if not handled wisely. He said power should change hands and be exercised with restraint, especially within families.

Ilias explained that parents must set limits through dialogue rather than absolute control, warning that excessive authority turns a parent into a "family tyrant." He urged fathers to listen to both children and co‑parents, seeking balanced solutions. The interview was prompted by his summer artistic collaboration with singer Lena Papaligoura.
