Turkey regional development and reconstruction projects

Various regional development and reconstruction projects are underway across Turkey. In Kahramanmaraş, families are receiving keys to new homes in Doğukent following the February 6 earthquakes, while restoration continues on the historic Kocabaş Mansion to preserve the city's cultural identity.

In Malatya, the reconstruction of the historic Yeni Camii is nearing completion, with an expected opening by the end of September. Meanwhile, Kayseri's Melikgazi Municipality is advancing urban transformation in the Aydınlıkevler neighborhood, replacing risky structures with modern housing.

Infrastructure and energy projects include coastal erosion protection in Bafra, Samsun, involving the construction of 16 breakwaters, and a planned wind power and energy storage facility in Saray, Tekirdağ. Other local updates include the reopening of the Abdülkerim Yurtseven Mosque in Hakkari, the restoration of a lightning-damaged mosque in Eskişehir, and the ongoing restoration of the Hacı Yusuf Taş Mosque in Elazığ.

Social and environmental issues are also noted, such as administrative leave provisions for civil servant parents in Kırıkkale during school orientation weeks, and local complaints regarding waste management and pollution in Diyarbakır and İzmir.
