Melikgazi Municipality introduces 48 new service vehicles

Melikgazi Municipality has added 48 new vehicles to its fleet to enhance service quality and field capacity. The introduction of the new vehicles was marked by a festival-style event designed for local children and families.

Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that over the past seven years, the municipality has acquired a total of 193 pieces of heavy machinery and vehicles, with a current estimated value of approximately 1.1 billion lira. He emphasized the municipality's financial discipline, noting that it is one of the few among Turkey's 1,405 municipalities to operate without debt or credit.

The new fleet will support various municipal duties, including cleaning, transportation, park maintenance, and infrastructure works. The Mayor also announced upcoming projects, including the opening of Sanat Melikgazi and Gön Han, as well as several schools, mosques, and social facilities.
