Melilla futsal clubs begin pre-season preparations

Futsal clubs in Melilla are beginning their pre-season preparations for the upcoming national competitions.

MCD Peña Real Madrid, competing in the División de Honor Juvenil Group V, has started training under coach Raúl Cuenca. The team features a largely renewed squad and a new partnership with Nueva Era, which will allow youth players to train with the second team to gain experience.

Similarly, MCD Rusadir is preparing for its fourth consecutive season in the División de Honor Juvenil. Coach Yunes Domínguez emphasized the club's commitment to a local talent policy, noting that the squad is composed entirely of players from Melilla to foster regional development.

In the men's national Second Division, Melillar Ciudad del Deporte Melistar has entered its second week of intensive pre-season training at the Javier Imbroda pavilion. The squad, bolstered by domestic and international signings, is working toward competing for top positions in the league.
