Melilla officials promote gender-based violence prevention at local fair

Laura Segura, head of the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women for the Government Delegation in Melilla, visited the information point at the Melilla Fair. The initiative aims to provide citizens with resources and guidance on how to act in cases of gender-based violence or sexual assault.

As part of a national strategy promoted by the Ministry of Equality, the information point offers technical and human support throughout the fair's operating hours. Additionally, 'Punto Violeta' signage featuring QR codes has been distributed across various stalls and spaces within the fairgrounds to facilitate quick access to assistance and information.
