Melilla prepares for festivities honoring Nuestra Señora de la Victoria

Preparations are underway in Melilla for the upcoming festivities honoring the city's patron saint, Nuestra Señora de la Victoria. The Real y Franciscana Congregación de Nuestra Señora de la Victoria has been intensifying activities at the Sagrado Corazón church, including cleaning liturgical items and setting up altars.

A significant milestone in the celebrations was the unveiling of the official commemorative poster, an artwork created by María Milagrosa Reyes. The presentation, held at the Sagrado Corazón church, was accompanied by music from the Agrupación Musical de la Flagelación. This year's festivities are also noted for the debut of a new throne for the patron saint.
