Melinda Schneider releases Barbra Streisand tribute album and tour

Australian singer-songwriter and six-time Golden Guitar Award winner Melinda Schneider has released a new album, ‘Melinda Schneider Sings the Songs of Barbra Streisand’. The project was recorded with a 10-piece band.

Alongside the album release, Schneider has launched a national tour titled ‘The Way We Were: The Music and Life of Barbra Streisand’. The show is described as an emotional journey through the life and music of the influential 20th-century artist. Schneider, who is also the founder of Mpower Records, noted that Streisand’s emotive lyrics and voice had a profound impact on her from a very young age.
