Melisa Rosalía Olivera missing since June in 9 de Julio

The family of Melisa Rosalía Olivera, a 39-year-old nurse from Mar del Plata, is searching for her after she went missing in mid-June. She was last seen on June 15 in the town of 9 de Julio, Buenos Aires province.

Olivera had been experiencing personal and economic difficulties, leading to frequent moves between cities. Before her disappearance, she was staying in a residence owned by a man who reportedly has previous allegations of gender-based violence.

Following her disappearance, her mobile phone was turned off, breaking her usual pattern of communication with her daughters. A formal missing person report has been filed. Authorities investigated the last known residence, and a man associated with the property testified that Olivera had stayed at a local hotel and left a note stating she had to take an ‘urgent trip.’ Investigators are currently seeking the note to clarify her whereabouts.
