Our Little Farm' updates: Alison Arngrim’s masked cameo and Melissa Gilbert discovers three brothers

Alison Arngrim returns to the Netflix reboot of "Our Little Farm" in a brief cameo as the forest woman Ida. The 64‑year‑old actress said the role required an extensive mask and costume that dramatically altered her appearance, making her "unrecognisable" to fans of her original Nellie Oleson character.

Melissa Gilbert, who played Laura Ingalls Wilder in the original series, announced on Instagram that she has three biological brothers she never knew existed. She wrote, "Well, this has been a remarkable few weeks," and explained that a fifth‑cousin helped her locate the siblings on her birth mother’s side. The newly discovered brothers are Matt, Laird and the late Mark, whose son also lives today. Gilbert said she will share more details of the family reunion on Substack.
