The 'Angela Morabito' Anti-Violence Center, part of the Associazione Piccola Opera Papa Giovanni ETS, in collaboration with the Municipality of Melito Porto Salvo, will host a book presentation on September 2, 2026.

The event features the book 'Un inferno silenzioso. La violenza di genere' by lawyer Rosanna Certo. The work uses personal narratives to examine the dynamics of gender-based violence in intimate relationships, the challenges of seeking assistance, and paths toward escaping violence.

This initiative is linked to the LIA (Libera Indipendente Autonoma) Project, funded by the Calabria Region, which has established a local listening service in Melito Porto Salvo. The presentation aims to foster community awareness, education on respect, and the promotion of self-determination as tools for prevention.
