Meljine Bocce Club to host memorial tournament for Ljubo Pavlović

The Meljine Bocce Club is organizing the fourth annual ‘Meljine ne zaboravlja’ (Meljine Does Not Forget) memorial tournament. The event is dedicated to honoring individuals who dedicated their lives to the sport and the club as players, officials, members, or friends.

This year, the tournament is dedicated to the memory of Ljubo Pavlović, who was associated with the Meljine Bocce Club for four decades, serving as both a player and president. Members of the Pavlović family will present trophies and medals to the winners.

The competition will feature eight teams from the Val and Meljine clubs competing in the doubles discipline. While the tournament serves as a form check ahead of the traditional Herceg Novi Municipality Day tournament, organizers emphasize that the event is primarily a tribute to those lost, including previous honorees such as Božo Vučetić, Baća Bojanić, and Dragan Lipovac.
