Melløs school in Moss site of knife fight between two fathers

Two fathers were involved in a knife fight at Melløs school in Moss on Friday evening. According to the East Police District, one individual sustained lacerations while the other was apprehended. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute between the men regarding their children.

Several children were present and witnessed the event. Police have been working to interview witnesses and provide support to the children involved. This incident follows a series of violent events in the Oslo and Akershus regions, including a recent stabbing at Kuben high school and other knife-related incidents in Mortensrud and Lørenskog. In response to recent violence, Jon Engen-Helgheim, leader of the Justice Committee, has called for stricter measures regarding weapons in Norwegian schools.
