Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina set for release on April 22, 2027

Aniplex, Type-Moon, and developer French-Bread have announced that Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina is scheduled for release on April 22, 2027. The 2D fighting game, set in the Tsukihime universe, will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

This new installment serves as an updated version of Melty Blood: Type Lumina, featuring an enhanced battle system and new gameplay modes such as the Act mode for simplified controls. The game will include a new main story written by Kinoko Nasu, centered on the character Shiki Tohno, and will feature new characters including Len and White Len, with character designs by Takashi Takeuchi.

The title will support multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Korean, and Chinese. A playable demo is expected to be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.
