Memo Schutz joins La Casa de los Famosos Mexico 2026

Guillermo "Memo" Schutz, a 49‑year‑old Mexican sports commentator and presenter for Televisa Deportes and TUDN, was confirmed as contestant number 14 on the reality series La Casa de los Famosos México 2026. He entered the competition on 26 July 2026, competing for a prize of 4 million pesos. Schutz has spent more than two decades covering major sporting events for TUDN, including the NFL, NBA, Super Bowl, Olympic Games and the 2026 World Cup.

His personal life has also drawn attention: he is married to Verónica Fonseca since 2008 and they have four children. Fonseca is not a public figure. While some TUDN colleagues publicly urged viewers to vote for him, Schutz claimed they were mocking him, a comment that sparked discussion among fellow contestants and fans. The first elimination from the show is scheduled for 2 August 2026.
