Memphis Depay signs two‑year contract extension with Corinthians

Dutch striker Memphis Depay has completed a two‑season contract renewal with Brazil's Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. After weeks of negotiations and the exchange of multiple draft agreements, the player and the club reached a final deal on Friday. Depay is scheduled to return to Brazil on Monday for a medical examination before rejoining the squad coached by Fernando Diniz. The renewal ends the uncertainty surrounding his future and secures his place in the team for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The club confirmed that the new contract will be signed only after the medical clearance is granted.
