Cameron Boozer Leads Memphis Grizzlies in 2026 NBA Summer League

Memphis forward Cameron Boozer, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, has been the standout performer for the Grizzlies in the NBA Summer League. In a July 10 game he scored 24 points on 10‑of‑13 shooting, added seven rebounds and three assists, and helped Memphis post a 96‑64 win over the Atlanta Hawks to secure a spot in the semifinals. Boozer continued his strong play in the quarter‑finals, leading all scorers with 24 points against the Golden State Warriors, and posted a double‑double of 12 points and 12 rebounds in the semifinal loss to the Houston Rockets.

Teammate Cedric Coward also impressed, posting 23 points in the Hawks game and a 28‑point effort against the Rockets, underscoring the young core’s chemistry. The Grizzlies will meet the winner of the Lakers‑Warriors semifinal in the Summer League championship on July 19, broadcast on ESPN. Other rookie highlights include Caleb Wilson of the Chicago Bulls, who dismissed comparisons to Kevin Garnett, and former Laker Isaiah Thomas praising Lakers rookie Cameron Carr, but Boozer remains the focal point of Memphis’s postseason push.
