Memphis volleyball hosts Ole Miss in regional rivalry match

The University of Memphis volleyball team is set to host regional rival Ole Miss at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse on Tuesday evening. The match, scheduled for 6 p.m. CT, will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Memphis enters the matchup with a 2-6 record following a performance at the Carrie Yerty Classic. Key players for the Tigers include Caitlyn Little, who has averaged 2.80 kills per set, and Sydney Marshall, who recently recorded her 1,000th career assist.

Ole Miss holds a 6-2 record and enters the game on a three-match winning streak, most recently defeating Clemson in five sets. The Rebels are led by Jorda Crook and Melia Johnson in their attack, while libero Cameron Bradley leads the SEC in total digs. This marks the first time Ole Miss has traveled to Memphis for a match since 2014. The all-time series between the two programs stands at 38-33 in favor of Ole Miss.
