Menasalbas celebrates Fiesta de la Ternera to support livestock sector

The town of Menasalbas in Toledo hosted the Fiesta de la Ternera, a celebration highlighting the region's significant beef production and its role in the rural economy. The event, which has seen recent editions numbered at the 23rd and 24th, is organized by the local City Council in collaboration with livestock cooperatives including Valle de Mena, Nuestra Señora de la Salud, Fuente Bartolo, and Comega.

Financial institution Eurocaja Rural participated in the festivities to demonstrate support for the local livestock and agri-food sectors. Representatives from the bank, including President Javier López Martín, attended the event to reinforce the entity's commitment to the rural identity and cooperative business model of Castilla-La Mancha.

Concepción Cedillo, President of the Toledo Provincial Council, also attended the celebration. She emphasized the importance of livestock farming as a driver of employment and wealth in rural areas, noting that the activity is a vital component of the region's identity and future stability.
