Menden: Werringser Straße asphalt resurfacing begins Monday

The city of Menden has announced that asphalt resurfacing on Werringser Straße and surrounding residential streets will take place from Monday, August 17, to Thursday, August 20. The construction company Stricker will execute the work in two sections.

To ensure the new asphalt layer adheres correctly, the construction zones must be cleared of all vehicles. The city has warned that vehicles left on the street may be towed. Residents are advised to use alternative parking areas, such as Wilhelmshöhe or Von-Lilien-Straße, while being mindful of private driveways and signage.

Following the asphalt installation, parking will only be permitted once road marking work is completed. Additionally, local waste collection schedules will be affected; yellow bin collection, originally scheduled for Tuesday, will be delayed until the following Saturday.
