Mendilibar targets championship after Olympiacos victory

Olympiacos manager José Luis Mendilibar expressed his intention to win every match in the upcoming season to secure the championship. He noted that competition in the Greek league has intensified, with more teams investing and competing at a higher level than in previous years.

Following Olympiacos' 1-0 victory against Atromitos in the Stoiximan Super League opener, Mendilibar stated that while the team played well and created numerous chances, the opponent's goalkeeper performed exceptionally. He also noted that the team faced pressure toward the end of the match following the red card issued to Rodinei.

Regarding new signings, Mendilibar mentioned that players such as Sa and Gustavo will require time to adapt and find their rhythm. He concluded by acknowledging the support from the fans, noting that he still feels somewhat awkward receiving their enthusiastic cheers.
