Mendoza City Wins Silver at Best of Mendoza Wine Tourism Awards

The municipality of Mendoza was honored with a Silver award for its “San Martín y el Vino” initiative in the Arte y Cultura category at the 2027 Best of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism ceremony. The event took place in the Auditorio Ángel Bustelo and was attended by provincial officials, tourism leaders and representatives of the wine sector. Mayor Ulpiano Suarez received the prize and said the project helps strengthen the city’s identity and offers new experiences for visitors.

During the same ceremony eight local projects were granted Gold awards and will represent Mendoza at the international competition of the Great Wine Capitals network in Hawke Bay, New Zealand. The Gold winners are: La María Hotel Boutique (Accommodation), Casa Drummond by Bodega Trivento (Architecture & Landscape), Autores por los Caminos del Vino (Art & Culture), Experiencia Raíces (Innovative Experiences), Bodega Kaiken (Sustainable Practices), Savia Cocina Casarena (Restaurant/Culinary), HelicopTour (Tourism Services) and Escala Humana Wines (Small Wineries).
