Various Latin American and Spanish regions report significant shifts in export performance during the first half of 2026.

In Argentina, total exports reached US$ 49.5 billion, a 24.6% increase driven by the energy and mining sectors. The petroleum-petrochemical complex saw record sales, while lithium exports surged by 186.3%. In Mendoza, exports grew by 17% in volume, led by honey, wine, and garlic, though the industrial sector faced a decline.

Bolivia reported a record trade surplus of US$ 2.56 billion, primarily due to high international prices for gold and silver, despite a contraction in total export volume.

In Mexico, exports hit a record US$ 81.4 billion in July, fueled by a 45.7% increase in manufacturing, particularly in electronic products.

Peru's hydrobiological exports exceeded US$ 2.1 billion, with fishmeal and frozen squid being the primary drivers.

In Spain, Andalusia's agri-food exports reached over US$ 9.3 billion, with Almería leading the region's performance through significant fruit and vegetable shipments.
