Mendoza hosts symphonic and sacred music events

Mendoza will host two distinct musical events on Saturday, October 10. The Orquesta Filarmónica de Mendoza will perform a family-oriented concert at the Teatro Independencia under the direction of Nicolás Rauss. The program features a diverse repertoire, including works by Aram Khachaturian, Claude Debussy, Hector Berlioz, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Georg Friedrich Händel. Rauss will provide commentary on the compositions and instruments to engage the audience.

Separately, the II National Sacred Music Festival, ‘Por los Templos de Mendoza’, will hold its third concert at the Santuario Jesús de la Divina Misericordia in San Rafael. This free event will feature performances by the Coral Sacro of the Universidad Católica de Santa Fe, directed by Miguel Ángel Piva; the Coro Magnificat, led by Luis Raúl Facello; and the Mendoza-based Coro Sacro Magnum Mysterium, directed by Antonio Stirn.
