Mendoza implements national technology for juvenile criminal regime monitoring
Mendoza has officially received the Juvenile Criminal Regime Supervisor Registry (RPJ), a technological platform developed by Argentina’s Ministry of Justice. The system is designed to register and monitor judicial measures and decisions related to juvenile criminal cases.
The formal handover was finalized through an agreement signed by local Undersecretary of Justice Juan Carlos Jaliff and National Undersecretary of Criminal Policy Emiliano Méndez Ortiz. This implementation follows a collaboration agreement signed in June, making Mendoza the first province in Argentina to meet the technical requirements to adopt this technological and training scheme.
The platform provides operational support to specialized supervisors responsible for assisting and controlling the compliance of measures applied to young defendants. To ensure data security, the software includes specific profiles for administrators, courts, and supervisors, maintaining strict confidentiality of all case information.
