Patagonian Tourism Corridor Reactivation Planned in Comodoro Region

Representatives from Comodoro Rivadavia, Río Senguer, Sarmiento and Rada Tilly met in Río Mayo to coordinate a joint agenda aimed at reviving the Integrated Tourist Corridor. The plan includes creating a technical team to share information between tourist information centers and extending the corridor to the Aysén Region of Chile, turning the initiative into a binational tourism route.

The effort seeks to boost local tourism providers by promoting complementary circuits across the Patagonian towns, improving visitor experience and generating new growth opportunities for the regional tourism sector. Eduardo Carrasco, executive manager of Comodoro Turismo, emphasized the need for unified action to strengthen the region’s tourism offering.
