Mendoza security agents prevent suicide and detain fugitive

Security agents from the Mendoza City Secretariat of Citizen Security intervened in two separate incidents during the early hours of Thursday.

In the first incident, agents responded to a report of a suspicious individual near the intersection of Federico Moreno and Entre Ríos. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the man was wanted by the Luján de Cuyo Fiscal Office. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the 33rd Police Station.

Later, around 4:00 AM, authorities received an alert via the Ojos en Alerta program regarding a young man expressing suicidal intentions at the Nudo Vial. Security personnel and representatives from the Ministry of Security arrived at the scene and successfully dissuaded the individual from harming himself. The man was then transported to Hospital Central and later transferred to Hospital Pereyra for medical attention.
