Menduh Thaçi criticizes Ali Ahmeti in political dispute

Menduh Thaçi, leader of the DPA, has issued sharp criticisms against Ali Ahmeti, president of the DUI, calling him ‘the most untrustworthy person I have ever met in my life’. During an appearance on the television program ‘Pressing One’ on T7, Thaçi addressed their long-standing political rivalry.

Thaçi stated that while his assessments are subjective, they are based on decades of political experience. He argued that Albanians in North Macedonia have not seen any real benefit from Ahmeti’s long-term rule, describing the overall result of his policies as a negative outcome. Furthermore, Thaçi accused Ahmeti of serving as a political instrument for other factors, specifically mentioning the interests of Slavs and the international community at various points in time.
