Menno de Bree to deliver Lebuinus lecture in Deventer

Philosopher and writer Menno de Bree will deliver the annual Lebuinus lecture in Deventer on September 17, 2026. Organized by the Stichting Vrienden van de Lebuinus, the lecture is titled ‘Samenleven voor beginners’ (Living Together for Beginners).

The lecture aims to explore how individuals navigate society during times of controversy and the difficulties of achieving harmonious coexistence. De Bree will connect philosophical theories with contemporary realities to provide new perspectives on social interaction.

The event will take place at the Lebuinuskerk and will feature musical performances by Robin Bleeker and Dirk Overbeek.
