Menofia fire kills 3 and injures 4 at paint facility

A major fire broke out at a facility for selling and packaging construction materials and paints in the village of Ajour Al-Raml, located in the Quesna district of the Menofia Governorate.

Preliminary reports indicate that the incident resulted in three deaths and four injuries. Emergency services responded to the scene with seven fire engines and four ambulances to contain the blaze and provide medical assistance.

Major General Amr Al-Gharib, the Governor of Menofia, inspected the site to oversee the emergency response and ensure medical care for the injured at Quesna Central Hospital and surrounding facilities. Following the incident, the Governor ordered local authorities to review all commercial activities, licensing statuses, and civil defense safety requirements for similar establishments in their respective jurisdictions.
